Wearing Pink
We affirmed kindness today - by wearing pink. VTT was bright and cheerful with color .
We presented our magazine reports today. What a variety of high-interest reading material is available! Magazines reviewed included Owl, Sports Illustrated, Chickadee, American Girl, SkyGaze, National Geographic, Wrestling, Wild, Lego Club, and Snowboarding. 75% of the class completed the bonus article review and pie chart section. Well-done!

F.S.A. Testing Today
The students wrote amazing stories about incredible journeys today. They brainstormed, and then organized their thoughts on a planning page. They structured their stories, using a clear beginning, middle and end. When all is "said and done and marked", students will be receiving these test booklets to take home.

Light Homework
No homework tonight. We are going to leave plenty of time for working on our At-Home Reading Rainbow Projects (Magazine Analysis).
We started our F.S.A. Writing Tests today. The first assignment was an excellent exercise in "Compare & Contrast".
Snow-tubing at Cypress. A great time was had by all last Friday! The weather cooperated, and the snow was soft. Thank-you to all the parents who joined us.
