Literature Circles Wrap-up

Monday, the 23rd - Lit Circles Wrap-Up
1. Have RED duotang ready to hand in for marking (including all SIX assignments)
2. Have novel finished, and be prepared to write about it in class
3. Bring novel

We launched our Long Division Unit today - no homework until all Social Studies deadlines have been met. Ask students what D.M.S.B (or D.M.S.M.) means!!!

An Inspirational Evening

All our students did so well presenting their speeches! They spoke with energy and conviction about a variety of topics. Special congratulations go out to the students who placed:

Other Grade 4 winners were Danielle Cohen, Eytan Grubner, & Noah Hayes.

Purim Booth

We're getting ready for our Purim Carnival. We've designed a soccer/obstacle game ("Hammer Haman") which can be enjoyed by all ages.

Geometry Extravaganza Today

Today, we played computer games, did hands-on demos, figured out 2D & 3D challenge activities, did a Q&A guessing game on the overhead, and constructed forms from net patterns - and it was all Math! (Geometry Unit)
