Kudos, Grade 4! I was proud of you!
A fascinating day was had by all at the Aquarium today. We were all thrilled to see Tiqa, the new baby beluga, shadowing her mother, Qila, around the beluga habitat. Besides learning about the adaptations of various marine creatures that help them STAY ALIVE, we managed:
to see the totems (including the new Salish greeting gates)
to hear a bagpiper on the Brockton Oval knoll
to see a solar-powered car cruising around Stanley Park
to have fun with our friends figuring out "Animal Crackers" picture riddles
and much more!
Thank-you to Mrs. Boroditsky, Mrs. Schertzer, Mrs. Visscher-Lubinizky, and Mrs. White for joining us on this event.
Two N.B. notices to read, sign, and send back to class by Monday:
1. Student Goal-Setting Conference Sheets
2. Photo Day Forms
