Tomorrow: Terry Fox Run and Science Quiz
Spelling test postponed until Monday due to the Terry Fox event.
No Spelling unit next week.

Computers - We've practiced our spelling, keyboarding and imaginative gaming skills on spellingcity.com. Mr. Cohen has introduced a "HANDS ON" Anagrams Program that allows us to manipulate letters and spell words. Ask your children for more details!

LA: Your copy of the novel, "Castle in the Attic", should have arrived home. Begin reading Chapters 1 & 2. They are to be finished by Monday. Come to class prepared to discuss the material. Remember to ask Mom or Dad to sign your Reading Schedule. The schedule lives inside the front cover of the yoman. Finish your "Freeze Frame" Journal entry. Use your 5 senses to help you describe "the moment".

Settling In

We didn't get to our Spelling Program launch today, so homework will be passed out tomorrow. No worries. There will be lots of time to complete work due Thursday.

I'm looking forward to reading your Grandparent Stories. It's been wonderful to activate special memories of these important people in our lives.

Reminder: Pack your YOMAN in your backpack at the end of each day. It goes home every day for Mom and Dad to see. Remember to deliver notices daily.
